Graphic Designer (Motion Focus)

Keeping the Tommy John customer at the forefront of all creative initiatives, this individual will work closely with the E-comm, Retail, Wholesale, Marketing, Merchandising and Design teams to create unique brand experiences online and offline. The ideal candidate will have a strong design ethos + aesthetic, and a thirst to build a compelling visual presence for the Brand experience. They should be motivated, have a self-starter mentality, and possess strong design skills across the digital as well as print mediums with a clear understanding of an omni-channel creative approach. This candidate will lead motion-driven content, reporting into the Art Director.


Digital-Based Motion Graphic Design

  • Motion / Video editing, formatting and exporting for different aspect ratios to be used for Digital Ads on Paid Social, Organic Social, Instore TVs, In-Mall Digital Displays, Web
  • GIF + Cinemagraph Creative creation


  • Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Motion Graphics, Visual Communication or related field
  • 2-4 years professional experience 
  • Self-starter with the ability to create original graphics + stories, and generate storyboards and/or sketch out motion story-telling
  • High proficiency in Adobe AfterEffects, Adobe Premiere, Adobe Illustrator; InDesign and Photoshop, a plus
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for design, typography, creative and brand thinking, and problem solving
  • Basic photo retouching and vector illustration skills, a plus
  • Ability to portray design innovation/excellence within the time/money parameters
  • Ability to work at a fast pace on multiple projects demanding a varied creative skill set
  • Ability to utilize a level of creativity and show interest in the look/design of work; Possess a strong taste and aesthetic point of view, with an ability to map onto brand architecture
  • Empathy for the customer and their interaction with the brand in the digital
  • Ability to effectively organize information, manage time and work collaboratively and cross-functionally on a close-knit team
  • Ability to laugh and have fun!
