Graphic Designer (Print Focus)

Keeping the Tommy John customer at the forefront of all creative initiatives, this individual will work closely with the E-comm, Retail, Wholesale, Marketing, Merchandising and Design teams to create unique brand experiences online and offline. The ideal candidate will have a strong design ethos + aesthetic, and a thirst to build a compelling visual presence for the Brand experience. They should be motivated, have a self-starter mentality, and possess strong design skills across the print medium with a clear understanding of an omni-channel creative approach. This candidate will lead in-store signage and collateral design as well as assist the Art Director on Direct-Mail campaigns.


Print-Based Graphic Design

  • Own In-store and wholesale print signage
  • Co-own Direct-Mail layout designs
  • Misc Graphic layouts for Postcards, Bounce Backs and various collateral
  • Co-own Packaging designs


  • Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication or related field
  • 2- 4 years professional experience in a retail or consumer goods start up environment
  • Self-starter with the ability to create original graphics and stories
  • Ability to build and design into mechanicals for store signage and direct-mail
  • High proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for design, typography, creative and brand thinking, and problem solving
  • Basic photo retouching and vector illustration skills, a plus
  • Ability to portray design innovation/excellence within the time/money parameters
  • Ability to work at a fast pace on multiple projects demanding a varied creative skill set
  • Ability to utilize a level of creativity and show interest in the look/design of work; Possess a strong taste and aesthetic point of view, with an ability to map onto brand architecture
  • Empathy for the customer and their interaction with the brand in the digital
  • Ability to effectively organize information, manage time and work collaboratively and cross-functionally with on a close-knit team
  • Ability to laugh and have fun!
