We are constantly on a mission to add smart, innovative and proactive team members, and are looking for a Store Manager to join our Southlake, Texas location! 

Reporting to the National Retail Manager, this position will lead our retail team in all aspects of store functions including sales generation, community campaigns, people development, operations and visual merchandising. The Store Manager’s focus will be on maximizing sales and driving profitability by supporting all sales activities, ensuring the execution of administrative tasks that support store operations and instilling the company culture in our store team who we call our Comfort Concierge®. This will include personnel management, exceeding defined business targets while working within given budgets, and building the brand’s image through sales. This position requires a highly detailed individual with an entrepreneurial spirit, and great work ethic that’s flexible to adapt to a changing environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Balance strengths in sales, operations, merchandising and personnel management
  • Maintain great interpersonal skills to ensure clear, effective, and constant communication and feedback to HQ and store teams
  • Lead and inspire by example with unparalleled customer service, immediate conflict resolution, and championing new company initiatives
  • Build and protect company culture by instilling brand values, behavior attributes and promoting team atmosphere
  • Cultivate the Tommy John community on the local-level by way of networking, outreach, events etc.
  • Train, develop and reward each team member to succeed and grow at Tommy John with constant engagement and feedback
  • Empower managers to own their areas of responsibility as well as hold every team member accountable for running a store successfully as a team
  • Constantly recruit potential new Comfort Concierge® team members and ensure proper onboarding
  • Monitor daily store KPIs and sales results
  • Establish and implement action plans to achieve monthly/annual targets for total store and each individual member of the team
  • Energize and motivate Comfort Concierge with regular contests/incentives and cultural team events
  • Provide the highest standards of customer service (this will include advising and assisting customers with the selection and fitting of bras)
  • Ensure all staff maintain Tommy John standards (following the disciplinary procedure in line with the People Guidelines) 
  • Manage staffing budget to maximize sales, eliminate wastage during peak and non-peak times
  • Consistently uphold premium store visuals standards and prepare product for new floor sets
  • Oversee daily operations of the store – back of house, store cleanliness and maintenance
  • Monitor inventory control and prepare for annual inventory count

Experience, Skills, & Attributes:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field
  • 4-5 years of proven experience in a similar role within other fashion luxury companies or a retail environment
  • Demonstrates alignment with TJ core values: Humble, Adaptable, Mindful, GSD 2.0, & Curious
  • Proven self-starter and problem-solver with a talent for managing, coaching, and developing a team
  • Strong merchandising skills with the ability to drive the business through creativity and extensive fashion knowledge
  • Experience and ability to process information + merchandise through the computer and POS register system
  • Commercial awareness and strong business acumen
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, and drive results in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for fashion industry and high level of personal performance
  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds
  • Ability of travel as necessary (5%)

Salary: $60,000 to $65,000 per year
